They trap and tag a lot of calves before they relocate them as they try to expand the range..I guess it's to have a record of their movement if there ever harvested..

When you buy a general license you are asked if you want to apply for a draw for each of the seasons.

Small world, we have been blessed with 2 tags in the family, everyone is very excited about having another chance to harvest our greatest trophy. I spend a tremendous amount of time all over the elk range year round shooting pictures, one of the perks of being a retired old geezer..

Definately a small world. Unless I'm mistaken, I first crossed paths with you on a pa hunting site ran by a guy who's screen name was buckslayer. Hunting PA or something of that nature. Would have been back around 2008 or so.
