Is your rum a custom or factory. I have been throwing the idea around to build a 375-338 lapua imp
Custom, min spec reamer, 10 twist.
Shooting it for the first time this weekend.
I have been looking at the 375/338LIMP (378 capacity), but I am not sure what velocities it comes with (probably 378ish). I also do not think the case is big enough to burn Retumbo properly....Perhaps not even H1000...IDK.

Kirby Allen's 375 ax is shooting retumbo and 350 smk at 2800-2900
Is that the 338/375 LIMP?
If that is a modest and accurate load a guy has to ask himself how much more he needs?
I know a fellow with a 375 Viersco with a 36 inch barrel...I believe it was rolling 350SMKs at somewhere around 3450fps. Though hardly modest the owner (a straight shooter) claimed the gun was holding around 3/4-1 minute at over 2000 yards.
He said it pushes the 260 Accubond to around 3800fps...which would flat let the starch out of a pronghorn
