People have been talking about this for years-- we even have a member here that has done this and posted about it......just think of the possibilities if the hybrid case line is expanded to larger cartridges-- 300rum, 338 nmi, chey-tac , etc

Nothing new about using stainless steel for the head of the cartridge case.
Years back there was a small company in as i recall NC by name of O Conner who did this.
I think i have a few of them stashed somewhere.
The case was cut off and threaded, and a stainless one threaded on.
The idea was to increase the life of the primer. pockets for the most part.
