Heavier bullets for 30-378

What twist is your barrel? The 200-220s are more ideal but you have to have the twist for them.

I also use 50 BMG with the 200 grain Partition.

My most accurate load is 117 grains at 3260 and the fastest load is
122 grains and I have to use a drop tube to load this beast. I have the SAMMI freebore but the 117 grain load produces 1/10 MOA groups. (Average group size 5 shots .092 to .297).

The fastest load is still accurate with less than 1/4 MOA but it produces a fireball that Is shocking. (Caution must be used when approaching this load and it must be worked up to).

My rifle has a 30'' barrel with a 1 in 10 twist and is built on a Mark 5 Weatherby action with a magazine length of 4.000 +.

I would try heavier bullets, but don't know if they could do better in my rifle.
