    I just noticed your post, sorry it took so long to get back to you. I just got home from California. You are right that getting that spring out was a pain. What I did was take a metal dental pick and straighten it out just enough to get it down the hole and catch it. Once I got it down there and hooked it, it came right out.

    hey Ryan, I saw your post from early February about replacing your messed up Savage ejector and spring. I got my ejector pin out, but the **** spring will not come out. May I ask how you got your unit removed, because I know from your post, it was also stuck in the hole. If you drilled it out, what size bit did you use? Must have been a tiny one!!! I don't know any other way to get it out...thank you very much!
