Hello everyone....here in iowa we can now use 35 cal rifles now so we are messing around with the 35 whelen. What a great cartridge. Started with a savage rifle that i rebarreled.

1/8 lee factory crimp on last band
58 gr h4895 2937, 2946 fps
58.5 2953, 2959 fps
59. 2979, 2968

No pressure signs at all
Loaded 5 at 59.3 3/4group. Picked this one. Thinking of elk hunting with this

I'm getting an old 70s Rem 30-06 rebored to 35 Whelen, looking forward to my poor-man magnum. Should absolutely hammer in the 200-500 yard space.
