Grandsons first rifle. UPDATE IT’S DONE!

I reckon a 160g Accubond will get the job done on a blackie.
If not to liking, a 150g TTSX would also fill the bill under 200.

Cheers.

Do you need a new grandson ;)? Awesome GPa, the things memories are made of!

What a great grampa. He should be an amazing shooter when he hits the old as dirt phase in life. Starting out with that nice of a rifle. I started out with a Remington 788 and a weaver k6 scope. Shot a conservative guess of 6000 to 8000 rounds through it killing everything from ground squirrels to mule deer till i rebarreled it. Let him shoot the hell out of it doing the same stuff. Hopefully he thinks of you everytime he holds it as he grows up. Makes me think i should start building rifles for my grandkids.....2 of our kids just got marriedthis summer. Lol
