Don't understand? Are you shooting into the sun or do you have the sun at your back? Are you the hunter or the hunted at extreme long range? Extreme Long Range lends itself to conversations while H.O.G.

ARD
"Anti Reflective Device"
Attaches on the front of the Scope.
Used mainly for Military Snipers so their position would not be given away from the Light Reflecting Off of the Scope Lens.
Also used for Hunting so animals do not see the reflection.
I have use in both situations.

Seems like a little practical knowledge goes a long way towards deciphering the text. Perhaps I assume to much of the membership? Or does this still sound like AI?

Circa 70! Yet I regress. They offer a honeycomb ARD that inserts into most day scopes nowadays. It either screws in place if the bell is threaded, or is held in by the flip caps.
This is screw in ARD. You can also us a Sun Shade Tube on a Scope with a thin cloth material cover.
Just a throw in:
A friend had a litter of baby Possums that him and his wife saved. The mother got ran over by a vehicle and killed. They raised the litter and some still come over to their home after 2 years ago and eat out of their hands.

Insert Honeycomb ARD. Forgive the empty Lobster Tails in the background. It is Valentine's Day? First photo displays how little ARD changes day scope profile. Second photo is head on, not sure how detailed it is, but that's what the honeycomb ARD looks like.

I have to tell you that Jill and I had a hard time trying to get the Phil the Groundhog and Hector the Bobcat to stay still while taking their pic with the ARD. And YES Those are his REAL Teeth!

Missed that one!
Think that's tossed my way. It's been debated if I'm AI generated since it takes some decryption to follow my train of thought. Yet those that know seem to follow giving my stylus pen and auto miscorrect the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps the only post that isn't up for much debate is when I described how to take a static length of pull measurement without the use of a rifle stock? 🤔
