We ended up picking up some more S&W Pistols for our collection. These don't seem to be fired except from the Factory. They look close to 100%. The Blued one has the Box and papers the Nickle does not.
These are Model 36-1 with very low SN X###X and 3" Barrels. I bought them from Jill's dad, and he thinks they were made before 1960.
Going to keep until we are old and going to liquidate with our collection.

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS WHAT THESE ARE WORTH (IN GREAT CONDITION)?

I need better pics! BUT these look almost perfect when holding in your hand!

WOW I didn't know that they were worth that much!
Would that be $125.00 shipped to you for both?
Such a deal!! Find anymore you'd sell at that price? I might be able to scratch up some more cash fir a mti-gun deal 😜

If you think it's too much, I'd just pay for shipping and I'd send an oreo cookie in trade

Now is it if I find more do I pay you to take them off my hands?
I would prefer Oatmeal with Rasins!

cohunt FUNNY Guy!
You are too kind. Do you want me to ship you the 38 Special ammo also? How many and what type cartridges would you like?

Anyone have an Idea of the Price. I was thinking around $700.00-$900.00 +- due to the almost pristine condition and the years manufactured. One of them has the original box and papers.

Closer to $900 each sounds right. They are classics.

See what people are actually paying for them, do a search on Gunbroker for those sold. I used to use the Blue Book of Guns but it never seemed to match real life sales and what people were actually willing to pay.

Consider that firearm prices have taken a dip right now and will probably swing back higher.

Auction houses (like Rock Island) will normally get more than normal Gunbbroker prices and would be the ideal way to sell a large collection.

I bought two identical to these you have shown 8 years ago, with the boxes and paperwork, and a holster and quick loaders for $800 each. One was blued and other was nickel/stainless. Only one set of grips for each. I bought them from a friend's father that had bought them when he was in his 20's. I think you are safe valuing them in the $800-$900 range each. Blued might be worth more than the other.
