Formula to convert inch’s to moa

There's one more formula that hasn't been discussed yet. This is the interesting part of angular mathematics. The "mil-ranging formula" is the most basic algebraic formula to use and once you commit it to memory it can be applied for many applications, which helps a lot for keeping it simple. Using Dog Rocket's example on the previous pg-- 8.5" correction at 523 yds., here it is--
8.5 x 100/1.0472/x=523, x=1.55
 
I love the math actually. Have seen some amazing things accomplished with it in the field that couldn't have been done otherwise.
