First STW kill....

I was able to officially break in my new Gradous STW out in Texas on this dandy whitetail buck:



The range was 200 and bullet was a 150 Grain Nosler Solid Base at 3,260fps MV. He simply folded at the shot. The impact was just behind and below the shoulder blades.

Looking fwd to more critters with this rig.

The STW and deer are a match made in in hunter's heaven. They work well on elk, but not as impressively IMO (at least with my 160 Accubonds at 4-500yds using lung shots (as opposed to high shoulder shots you see on TV)). Still, dead is dead. Congrats!
