Finally getting the barrel broke in.
22 Creedmoor
Aero Precision Solus action
Preferred Barrel Blanks 24" Rem Varmint/Sendero contour 1:7 twist
Little B@st*rd Gen 1 brake profiled
KRG Bravo (still waiting on AG composite stock)
Built by me - JR Precision LLC.

74 grain tipped hammer hunter (all copper)
Average 3570 FPS (didn't note ES and SD, but single digit SD)
This is with RL-17 - I need to retest with a powder that I have more of and get more of.
All shot at 100 yards
Becoming promising, hopefully it gets a smidge better.

EDIT after looking at shooting log: group 1 ES/SD: 24.9/10.2 - group 2 ES/SD: 9.8/4.2 on Garmin
These are NOT the first 2 groups, rather the last 2 groups in this string. I'd say close to the ragged edge and at listed max from Hammer Hunter
reloading data, around 3570+/-fps.

I'm one of the few that has been having a hard time getting the Hammers to do well. This one seems to be coming around.

You're dialing in. With Hammers as well as others, adding a Lee crimp die operation has been positive for me and others, notably with Hammers.
There are other double base propellants out there. I would be looking for those to try as a possible replacement to RE17.
