Finally got my dope set for 143 eldx

I started with hornady .294 g7 for their 143 eldx, was being lazy, shot at 550 was low, adjusted velocity down then shot at 880 and was high. Oh oh. Reset bc to .303g7, used my jbm ballistic app to true the velocity. Shot this at 880 yds, in a 10 mph wind from 11:00. Held 4moa hit one on the edge. Moved to 3.5, punched the center. Held the same and put one beside the first. Stupid wind gusts. Happy with the vertical spread though. I'm thinking in ideal conditions I could make a 2" group! With a factory sako a7!
Shot it at 400, 550, and 700 and ballistic profile held true. Time to go hunting!

Watched two coyotes at 1220 yds, they would not come in. I've never shot that far so started walking towards them, figuring if I could get to 800 yds they're toast. On my way this fella jumps from sleeping and got him with the 6.5!

Good job!! Is that a suppressor on the end of your barrel? Never seen one that short.

Looks like a Muzzle Brake , Nicely done.

It's a noise redirector. Screws over the muzzle brake and directs the blast forward.

I've been using the 4dof app and ab on my kestrel to true up my g7. Now I'm at .310 and did a search to see where others were at with the 143. My own thread popped up from a year ago so I thought I'd update if anyone's interested
