Looking to see what everyone else is shooting! Share you favorite loads for .280 AI, .3006 and .300 Win Mag here.

I am currently fine tuning .280AI for 140 Nosler BT, Peterson brass, CCI200 and 60 gr of H4831 at 3.300 COAL. I will also be working a load up with 140 accubond and possibly 140 partitions as well

My current loads for 3006 are 180 gr Woodleigh RN and 54 gr IMR4350 in Rem brass and CCI200 as well as Norma Oryx in the same weight with same components. Great deer killer. I am thinking about testing some random bullets I have lying around including 150 and 165 GMX, 165 Trophy Bonded Bearclaw, and 150/165 gr Fusions.

300 Win Mag I am continuing load development but I hope to find something in the 180 class for a mountain rifle I just picked up off the classifieds.

Edited for pics. Deer killed with Tikka 3006 Hunter. Also, the Kimber Montana 280AI I have been loading for.

Only experienced with 280 AI. I like IMR 4831 for the 140 class bullets. IMR 4350 shot well but velocity was much slower.
This is using the obsolete 139 grain Hornady interbond.
I will add that Ramshot hunter looked promising but I scored more IMR 4831 so I put the hunter back on the shelf.
Browning X bolt 26"
139 grain interbond
59.5 grain IMR 4831
Federal 210
3090 fps

No experience loading the other two, but in 280 AI I'm quite fond of two loads:

Both using Peterson brass, Rem 9 1/2 primers.
- 120gr TTSX over H100V going 3400 fps. 19" of drop at 400.
- 143gr Hammer Hunter over H4831 going roughly 3150 fps.

This is out of a 24" proof medium sporter, 1:8.4 twist.

I shoot the 212 ELD-X or 210 Nosler LR Accubond with 74grs of RL-26 out of a 26" Bartlein averaging 2960fps and very accurate. I throat the barrel to allow for longer bullet seating.

280ai ( iirc ) is close to 7saum velocities? Having a 7saum myself I haven't dialed in on a favorite yet. Now on to 300wm.......I wish I could say I have a favorite, but still much need for load developments. I have big hopes for berger 230 and 215's from a 30" 9t on a 110 build.

Only have experience with the 30-06 & 300Win. I use 168gr TTSX & h4350 behind that, out of a 22" barrel am getting 2930fps. Now the 300 likes the 175gr. LRX with IMR 4831, out of a 24" barrel am getting 3003fps, I can go another grain or 2 more, but it's most accurate with the load as is.

Even though I don't shoot a lot, I wanted a hunting load that I could use at the range without burning out my barrel practicing. I also wanted a round that could take down most anything in North America at ranges from 10 ft to 600yds. (you can stop laughing now.)
I decided on a 200gr ELD-X with 53.4 gr of Rl-17. 2774 fps. Various Brass, mostly Hornady. I have a Model 700 LR in 30-06 that a gunsmith worked over for me. My MPBR is 235yds and I can sometimes get real close to iron at 500yds. I'm still looking for that 500 yd shot but I have taken several deer at 100+yds and two deer at 10 ft. The round worked well.

Those of you that have a 280AI and have actually tried heavy loads like a 168 or something heavier what is the velocity that was obtained. I have a savage action that I want to re-barrel with a 280AI. Will probably do a 1/8 or 8.5 twist.
195 Berger EOL: 64.6 grains N570 Fed 215M, 2890 fps

Recommend going with 8 twist.
