Ok so I picked up an early 90s model 70 the other day. It has some pitting in the barrel that does not show to really affect it shooting. That said I have been looking at replacing the barrel with caliber i do not already have. I am trying to figure out what threads this one has and such. NO big rush, for now i am just going to use it as a loaner rifle until i figure out what i want to do with it.
