Who else is dreaming of Fall 2023. Been wanting this caliber for quite a while. Picked up rifle and scope here on the forum. Gotta love the Hammer Demo packs!

Waiting for the elk and pronghorn draw to take place in the next 2 weeks, so yeah, wife and I are dreaming of at least an elk fall hunt this year.

I'm almost done with the 131HH load development in that chambering. It's right at 3310 fps. My SAAMI chamber is pretty shallow for the 143HH (3120 fps compressed). So I'm interested to see how you do with these bullets.

I purchased 140 Absolutes and 160 Shock. Stay tuned. Both will do fine for my hunting ranges but always been a big fan of Power and Shock Hammers.

Always dreaming of fall in the mountains.

I'm running a short barreled 7 SAUM and plan to load some 154 Hammer's in it soon. Then some 214's when my 30-28 Nos is finished.

Pressure test on 160's coming soon. I weighed the rifle with scope cover and it tapped in just under 8lbs minus ammo and shoulder strap.

Winter has never left here. But still doesn't stop me from dreaming about those bugling elk that I hope to encounter this fall.
