1:8 at 22". Slings the 88s at 3150 with room to spare with RL-23.What twist are you running? I was thinking a 1-8" but wondering if 1-7" would be better for 88 ELDM's. TIA
WTG! Nicely done. Those 22 BR's feed nice from the mags?1:8 at 22". Slings the 88s at 3150 with room to spare with RL-23.
Had a great time in Wyoming last fall. Shot this coyote at 600 Friday evening, then shot this mule deer buck at 315 the next morning.
Easy to spot shots and just plain fun to shoot.

I have 1 of their 243win barrels for AR10 and it's very short throated. Factory ammo barely chambers and some don't. I tried 90gr fmj and coal at 2.650 is .028 short of being at loaded spec.Bear Creek Arsenal has announced the availability of there 22-250 uppers for the AR10 platform.
Have not had time to looks a the specs, but I may have to try one of those.

I shoot 22-250. I have several. Killed 1 mule deer and 3 antelope. All one shoot dropped where they stood. Oh also one turkey. All with 55 gr. Some were long shoots out to 500 plus yards. One of my favorite calibers. I will never sell my 22-250s.Years ago I used to have a Remington 700 chambered in 22-250 that I shot a lot of prairie dogs with. Time went by and the rifle was rechambered in a different caliber and forgotten about. Recently while going through and old ammo box I came across some loaded 22-250 rounds and that got me to thinking about how much I had enjoyed the round. Now I am thinking about getting a barrel chambered in 22-250 or maybe another rifle in that caliber. Time to start saving some coins for another project I guess
I have a VLS in 22-250 that I shot the barrel out in. I re-barreled it with a 9 twist and shoot deer with 65's and 70's and groundhogs with 55's.Our prairie dogs are pretty limited these days. Bunnies are plentiful. The 22-250 suits predators & small deer as well. I would like to spin a faster twist barrel on mine though.
That rifle is a heck of a shooter! Nicely done Sir!Use them all the time. Remington 700, Sako Forester and Handi-Rifle. IMR 4320 and Sierra 52gr BTHPMatch.
Target is Rem 700.
I love the 22-250 I have 4 benchrest and two hunting rifles in 22-250 extremely accurate and not expensive to load surprised they are not more popular I also have 2 M-77 220 SWIFT another almost forgotten caliber it gets really expensive to shoot my 7mm STW or my .338 LAPUA MAG so in these times smaller is better some of the forgotten or lesser known calibers are really great the 22-250 is one for sureYears ago I used to have a Remington 700 chambered in 22-250 that I shot a lot of prairie dogs with.
