Doe Hunt Hammer Prototype Max Distance Minimal Velocity

Thats getting it done! My 22 HH runs 72s at 4100, 2in high at 100 yds its hold on hair out to 400 yds! My 22/284 reammer is .050 freebore.

My Ruger #1 in 25-06 with a 26" barrel shoots 90gr AH to 3611fps using RL16. To get that velocity, I ended up at 102.5% of case capacity according to QL

Ok, I'll let the cat a bit more out of the bag. Right now, we are looking at two lines of the new bullet. One that is more conventional and one that is pushing the limits. So, thinking here is we may launch two new lines of bullets. Uuuggg, the chaos of having too many bullets!

I would think the 90 gr absolute would outrun the 87 gr speer by several hundred fps, load data shows that bullet at 3656 with 59 grs.of Imr4831 in the 2506 -24 in barrel , you may be leaving a lot on the table. My 25-284 is also in the same manual Speer #12 nearly neck and neck , the 22-284 has my interest, especially with these 78 grainers. The BC must be pretty good fora 900 plus yard shot.
