Custom Stock Making

I saw this Video and though it might help those that want to build one themselves to understand the steps required.

This Video shows the use of special tools that aid the Stock maker and many will not have these tools so these steps will have to be done by hand.

Making a stock from scratch with only hand tools is a lot harder and more time consuming. But it does show the basic steps.
