Custom rifle for 245 berger-250 hornady Atip

I've been wanting to make a custom rifle for a long time.
I'm thinking of a 30 caliber, to shoot berger 245gr or hornady atip 250gr.
Minimum speed 3000fps.
I don't know if a 300 prc with a 32" barrel would reach that speed.
The calibers I have in mind are 300 prc, 300 standard Magnum, 300 rum.
Rifle with 30-32" barrel and single feed.
1:8 twist.
If you can advise me.

30 Sherman Magnum will do it easily with that long of barrel. Everything is in stock at shermanwildcatcartridges.com

30-338 lapua, 300 rum or something similar is where I would go to run the heavies and still run decent speeds.

horse power/case cap wins with those life sucking long bullets
you would be hard pressed too push any prc or nosler sized case too 3000fps with a 250gr bullet in any barrel length

I'm no expert but this is actually something I looked at in the past. I think with enough barrel the RUM will get you there.

From your list of options, "I" would go with .300 NM.

well then 300 RUM single shot ... will run north of 3000 in a 26" barrel with little effort

This is my 300PRC with 31" barrel, 2100' ASL. 250gr A-TIPS. No apparent signs of pressure.
