not sure the exact cost, Full retail though, RRS never seems to go on sale.
If i plan on sitting i take my other tripod, not that it doesn't work, its just that with only 2 sections it does not collapse nearly as far as a 3 or 4 section tripod so you end up with a larger footprint. Being able to adjust the legs with one hand is my favorite feature, and it is more stable than my 24L

Where do you place your off hand and do you apply pressure? What did you have your magnification set on?
Off hnd goes on tripod leg, the mill reticle on the halo lr is at 2x base magnification which is 3.5, so it ends up as 7 power

Missed part of your question, yes i do load the tripod, not a ton, i would say a light forward pressure. Leaning into it just a bit is how i would describe it.
What tripod would you buy for sitting mostly?

I should clarify, if i am sitting on a stool or something off the ground i would take the 2 section, sitting on the ground i would take the other one

Same bae core and sensor, pretty much the same image quality in my limited time with the reap
