Copper fouling & Sweets.

I have found that a particular barrel can make a big difference in the cleaning process. For example, the Krieger Palmas that I use on my 6.5x47 PRS go to as many as 200 "hot" rounds down the bore between cleanings. They clean up with a few patches of BoreTech Eliminator. At the other end of the spectrum my factory Savage/Remington barrels while they are superb shooters, after 50-100 rounds they take a whole lot more time, brushing, and elbow grease.

I stopped using Sweets a very long time ago & now only use Montana cleaning products. No brushes, only patches. Works great.
Thanks, Kirk

Montana products are first class.
The Copper Killer is in my experience much more aggressive than sweets and is advertised as being completely Barrel safe.
No longer available in UK though.
