I will also announce this in today's Newsletter.

The prize is a brand new custom knife from Mark Roe at R2 Knives

I have it in my possession and can tell you it is a real beauty! Here is Mark's description from his website.
APEX - 1/8" D2 Steel. Heat treated to 60.5RC by Paul Bos. Flat ground main edge and top clip. Thumb serrations. Bead basted finish. Choice of black/grey G10 or black paper micarta scales. "Nuke" screws. Comes with fitted multi-carry kydex sheath (left, right, horizontal, or neck carry) from Sharpshooter Sheath Systems. Over length is 6 1/4" with a 3" blade. This is an extremely discreet and comfortable EDC knife. $175.00.

  2. Starts right now. Ends at noon on October 6.
  3. Register in this thread, recording here the number of posts you have at the start of the contest.
  4. Only legitimate posts qualify. No fair saying "Yeah, me too." to gain post count in a thread.

I got a chuckle out of Mark's BIO:
