I see on here that some bullets are more coal sensative than others. Does anyone know how sensative the 180 grain nbs are to coal ? TIA

I'm not sure what you mean by NBS but I shot buckets full of ballistic tips in 7mm Rem and 7mm STW ad did not find them to be a tall finicky about OAL.

There are however much better bullets out there for hunting and for long rage target shooting than the NBT's.

If you want to stick with Nosler try the accubods or accubond long range.

I've had extremely good luck with both as well as with Hornady interlocks, interbonds, and Swift Sirroccos.

None of these seem to be particularly sensitive to OAL either.

I have found that Nosler Bullets in general like a .010-.015" jump to lands in factory Remington rifles. They are not finicky, but they do have a sweet spot.
