Cleaning up Loctite

What do you use to clean up the threads on something that had blue loctite?

Gun scrubber and brass brush.

I usually use a brass brush, and a small pick from Harbor Freight. It takes a bunch of time. My next try is to soak them in Kroil. It's a penetrating oil for loosing up bolts. I think Kroil is the way to go in my venture. I'm a firm believer in blue loctite. None of my scope rings loosen up.
