Clean cold MOI

I would love to have a rifle built by one of the top builders in the country. I would already have one too, if I could just make up my mind what it would be? guess it will never happen until I come across something so cool I can't stand not to have it... Maybe a 30-06? High end shotguns are much easier to decide on...

Easy just pick the caliber you would shoot most and go for it.
My favorite rifles are my .375 by Kirby and my 6.5 ultra light by pierce. Like my pierce so much they are doing me a 30 Sherman as we speak.

I think I'm going to give it a try, at least in my AR. I don't use HBN in those things. the one I have in .22 Nosler will be a perfect candidate. It is very accurate.

You have to be very careful about it building up in the bore as it can cause massive pressure spikes. That's why I chose to go with the Machinegunner's Lube. It's also far less messy.

You need two. Something like a .260 Rem, or 6.5CM and a big thirty like the RUM.

With the smaller you can shoot thousands of rounds for practice and at everything up through deer sized game, and with the two you have 99% of the game on the planet well covered. You'd just need to borrow a .375 or larger if you ever go to Africa for any of the "Big 5".

If I ever go broke when I get done selling everything off I'll still own a .260, .300 Rum, and 375 Ruger so I can have all the game, varmints, and predators on the planet well covered.

I have so many now. I have a whole safe full i dont even shoot hardly any anymore. I was going to do it with a .17 Predator. Then Todd kindler quit making bullets. I have several customs, but not by top builders. Want something really special before i die. Maybe a .416 Taylor with really nice wood. Just dont know. I NEED nothing. Just a bucket item. Maybe a fast twist .270WSM in a lightweight rifle. Not spending $10k until i really really want...

We had to shoot the original Barnes X in our 17 Rem's because nothing else would hold up to the 4,100fps velocities. With all the good mono's on the market today there are definitely some options there.

The 25 gr kindler golds bad 6" less drop at 300 than the 25gr berger bullets i shoot today. Less drift and killed further.

I didn't end up with any of the 17's so I can't tell you off hand what's available today but the first place I'd look is probably Barnes and Peregrine to see what offerings they might have.

Tumble your bullets in HBN (Hexagonal Boron Nitride) powder and swab your barrel with it. It gives "cold bore" groups without the cold bore fliers.

Watch the HBN YouTube video at "Long Range Only".
