Bagged 2 woodchucks yesterday. Also a crow at 200. They're getting scarce on the farms I hunt. The berger 35 gr are devastating and accurate. They make quite a whack when they strike.
Waiting on my 6XC barrel to arrive for the long range build. Next project is a 6AI

I'm still waiting. I don't shoot any until the babies come out. Any day now if it would warm up. My Bird dog killed one a couple weeks ago. We call em ground hogs. I don't know what I'm going to use this year. My old hog gun was 7stw with 120BT's at 3600. Have to my kid this winter. Probably shoot my 300wm practice gun with 175's at 3100.

We call em groundhogs also. Bagged these with a 20VT. Im going to pull the 250AI barrel off and put the 6XC barrel on. The bullets I want to use are nonexistent at the moment.

Big time! We always wait till the pups have dropped

The farm owner wants them killed immediately. She has a hatred of them because her dog had to get 70+ stitches after fighting a gh

LOL...when Lincoln took after the one I tried to stop him and it was a fight. Lincoln luckily broke its back, and when it latched onto his lip it could not get traction to rip it open. I was yelling, laughing, and trying to stomp the hog and it finally let go. Oh I get the rage and "must do" my brother farms the home ranch and is constantly using very nice words and asking me as if talking to a infant to please please start shooting them. I just went to get ready to pull my old HS truck out of the boneyard. Now I'm retired time to rebuild it. Dam things have filled it with poop, junk, crap, weeds, wood, etc. Not one wire left in it. Nope I'm not even mad at the hogs....he told me if I shot them all it would not of happened. I just laughed and said IDGAF....I just want to know who stripped all my good stuff out of it and shot two holes in the running board/bed roll pan. He and my nephews denied it of course. I will shoot a bunch every year.....usually 50 or so, and always leave some for seed. Have one place we can shoot them out to 900yds, and when you miss they will be back out on the same rock the next day.

Try the 101 grain hammer hunter and the STW will again become your favorite hog buster. I'm getting 3,863 fps n my STW with sub 1/2 moa if do my part and recoils like a 6.5 creedmoor. I ordered their 90 grain hammer hunter to see if I can get above 4,000 fps.

I gave the STW to my son last year since he killed his first bull with it. I used it for hogs and dogs because the only bullets is shot well sucked for killing elk. I tried the 175ABLR (not available when I turned it into a varmint gun) and it still holds .5" all day long. My new hog rig will be a boring 223, 22-250/55vmax, BT out to 400. Past 400 the major majority will be a 6.5 sucksmoor/140 BTHP, and a 300WM/175 BTHP just a little. 250 primers/H1000 are just to valuable and limited to shoot at anything.

If you're not planning to shoot them at Anything....might as well pack em up and ship them North to Me. Thanks in advance ☺
