98 Mauser conversion

I have a sporterized 98 Mauser conversation
Chambered in .22-250, I have a shorter follower and spring but need a spacer
To take up the space, I know I can make one
But I would like the original Mauser spacer
That converts from long to short cartridge
They exist just trying to find one, it looks like this

I'm going to tag along on this one. I measured the FN 22-250 bottom metal that I acquired for a M98 about 7 years ago to convert to a 22CM about an hour before you posted this - serendipitous. I want to explore options to set the spacer back. FN brazed the mag box spacer in place and I don't want to repeat that process, seeing your example of a presumably pinned spacer has piqued my interest. Hoping someone has a stash of these in their basement they wish to share in various lengths/configurations - or I make my own. Mind if I DM you for info as you work through your build?

looks to me like the perfect place for a 3d printer.
have just recently received single shot followers for rem700 and they work great!
