Can somebody tell me about this bipod?

I've never seen a bipod that resembles that one. It's not an Atlas. As the advice has stated you look to have a t slot type rail on there that an adapter slides along the inside of. If you intend to make that bipod work it would likely require modifying an adapter to attach to the plate on that bipod. Might not be worth all that vs going with a different bipod. You could get a sling stud adapter and run a Harris style bipod or a pic rail adapter and have a ton of options too. Or remove that rail and put the rail you want on directly. Is it safe to assume you can't get any info from the last owner?
