I'm looking at the Bushnell Forge 4.5-27x50 scope. Wanting some input. It will possibly be replacing a Weaver Grand Slam 5-20x50.

Any advice helps. Thanks

I am looking at the same scope but in the 3x18x50. Since the scope is fairly new there are not many review yet. The ones I have seen have been very positive. I really like the features of the scope and will probably give it a try.

Thanks for the comments I have sent my Weaver off the be repaired if possible (the recital shifted in it) and if not Weaver said they would replace it with the Bushnell.

You'll probably need to change your rings, the Forge has a 30mm tube. I have a couple of Grand Slams, good glass for the money. I haven't looked at the new Bushnells yet.

Update on the scope situation Weaver did send me the Bushnell Forge 3-18x50 Deploy MOA FFP reticle...... This thing is awesome I'm so glad they sent me this one instead of fixing my old weaver. I was a little worried I wouldn't like all the stuff the reticle has one it but I think I prefer it to the old Duplex I was using. It has good solid clicks in the turrets.

@Charley Morgan after just sighting this scope in I would highly recommend it.

I really liked the bushnell elite LRHS..im a glass snob and this is my favorite scope for shooting 1,000 yards and in... I have to say I was disappointed when I saw this line if scopes...not that they are bad..or sub-par--just not on the same level as the LRHS series. Looking forward to more reviews..I have to say Bushnell was the last company I thought I'd be watching to see what is next...

I've got a $375 Engage 4-16 on my 25-06. I honestly think I like it better than my Elite Tactical 2.5-16 ($800+ when new). @460 magnum does your new one have the tool less locking turrets? That's what's on the Engage and I love em. Way better than the big bulky knobs on the ET.

No it has the big bulky knobs. To adjust the clicks just pull up on the turret no caps then 3 set screws to put on the zero mark. It also has a zero stop. I don't know if that answers your question or not hope it helps.
