After an exhaustive search and speaking with several of the larger distributors of optics (riflescopes specifically) I ended up canceling my order and going with another manufacturer. Hopefully my order cancellation will help someone else out. Seems like Burris hit a home run with a scope that seems to be extremely popular with the LR crowd. Apparently waiting 3-6 months is par for the course, sounds like it has happened with several other manufacturers. For clarification, I didn't order directly from Burris, I just contacted them to get some insight into estimated delivery dates. They were okay to deal with, but I wasn't exactly overwhelmed by their customer service. On the bright side, the other option I exercised is en route and should be on my doorstep Monday.
