Burris Extreme rings

I want a good heavy duty ring like the Leupold M1 but not the Price i am liking the Burris Extreme tactical rings are they any good. This is going on a long range hunting rifle. Out to 1000yds thanks for the help

Iv got them on several guns up to 30-06. Have not had a single problem. no movement you do have to watch getting them lined up.

I have used them on a .308, 7mmRem Mag and now on a .338 RUM.
Never had a problem with them. Quite good for the price. Very strong. They will not move.
Here is a set mounted on my .338 RUM. They were medium height and a bit high so I have since replaced them with a set of low ones.

BFR what base do you have on that gun?

+1 with Topshot, I have them on my 338 RUM, 7.82 Lazzeroni, 358 STA as well as my AR-10 In 243 win. These rings are very solid, I have yet to have any issues with them on my rifles. As you all know the 338 RUM & the 358 STA both generate "generous" recoil. I have no problems recommending them to anyone.

After my first set of Burris XTR's Ive swapped all my bolt guns to them. They are solid and look great to boot. But with confidence.

I have lapped steel rings, I guessing there are no issues doing so with Alum. ones?
