Bullet Pulling Question

I got a bad batch of TTSX bullets and unfortunately only noticed after I had 10 already seated. Some imperfections were not glaring to the naked eye but to a caliper they were. I have never had to pull bullets before so I ordered up a RCBS bullet puller and properly sized collet. Once these bullets are pulled do I need to go through the sizing process again to ensure proper neck tension or can I go ahead and set a new bullet and go on with my day? I will check to see if the neck ID has changed at all once I get them pulled, but in the meantime some first hand experience would be good to hear. For context these are max 300 yard, 30-06 hunting loads. I wanted to verify my data since I had to dip into a new lot of bullets. I don't want my reloads to be the weakest link on my upcoming trip. Fortunately I have another new box from a different lot I will be utilizing going forward.

When I pull a bullet for some reason, I just seat a new bullet without resizing the neck. I have never had issues. Seating pressure is the same and bullet seats at the same depth as before.
Resizing just the neck after pulling a bullet can cause neck runout, if you don't resize the whole case.
You can always try a couple without resizing. If they seat the same with the same seater setting, all should be ok.
The difference between those two bullets is insane! Good you caught that.

IMO, You always need to resize the case after pulling bullets if you want the neck tension to be the same as your other (non-pulled) ammo. Neck tension can be notably less after a bullet is pulled if you don't resize.

Next question - Can I reuse the primer I just knocked out when resizing? Most guys will say yes but primers are still pretty cheap so I toss them and use a new primer.

you should resize. I remove the decapping pin from the die and back it off 1/8 of a turn this way you wont be wasting any primers and will be only sizing the neck and wont cause runout problems. make sure you put the expander ball back on after removing the pin.
real simple have had to do it many times in the past.

My OCD would not allow pulled bullets to be re-seated without resizing the necks.

I use a RCBS Kenetic Hammer.... no marks on bullet....
I aways resize after pulling......

I do it all the time without a resize and I have never been able to measure a significant difference in group size, ES or SD. I decap separately and use arbors to set neck tension. Take a few and test it both ways as your mileage may very

Same. No noticeable difference at all with re-seated shots so far

Yes, primers will be fine. I've done it instead of removing depriming pin.
