Well, I only shot 'em with my camera. There wasn't much light, so I had to use a slow shutter speed. Found these rascals in Chelan County, Washington:

Not too far, a bit under 100 yards? Then I blew up the photo a bit on the computer too. I wanted higher quality photos, but by the time it was light enough for better photos - the elk were somewhere in the thick stuff. I have hopes that they'll come out into the open during lighter hours this week or next. My buddy said he'd give me a call if they come out into the open again. I can zip up to his place in about 20 minutes.

I'm using a 75-300 lens.
