I have the 2-7 on my 22 lr. I have had great luck with it. I was afraid it wouldn't track well but I have had a 350 yard zero and then back to 100 and it's right on. Not bad for the money. Cabellas just came out with one of these in their pine ridge line. One model even has side focus. Might be worth a look.
