As you can tell I am a Browning fan, this is my best attempt at a long range Browning A-bolt. Any and all comments and suggestions are appreciated.
Rifle Specs.
Browning A-bolt SS 300 RUM
PAC-NOR 28" super match grade #7 contour 1-9 twist
Mcmillan A5 marble 13.5 LOP
Bolt handle threaded and Brownells tactical bolt knob
EGW 20 MOA picatinny base
timney trigger spring 2 pound pull
Nightforce 3.5-15 NXS NPR2

Looks like a pretty mean rifle to me, I like the styling of the Abolt actions. Its gonna punish you without a muzzle break though.
 
I have done all of the work so far. Next to come will be to set headspace and then bed the action. Then the range report.gun)
 
Oh man that is a sweet looking rifle. I am also considering the a bolt for a build. I love the a bolt action as well. How does she shoot?

I still have to headspace and bed the action, but when i'm done I will give a range report.

Great looking rifle, can't beat the lines on the Browning action. Love the short bolt tilt as well. I am liking there actions more and more. Glad to see NO muzzle break on a hunting rifle, we are becoming a shooting nation of wimps, you will be just fine!
 
Sorry it took so long to post this, I have been busy. The rifle is a 1/2 MOA or better if I do my part. Here is a link to a video I took yesterday shooting 585 yards.

It's about time you got back to us! Looks like the project turned out nice. Congrats on a great build.
