Am looking to buy a borescope. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction?

That depends on how much you are willing and able to spend, $55 to >$250.

The Teslong that I use can be used on 20-caliber barrels~$89. I plug mine into an older laptop.

ever had issues with the camera focusing?

Another vote for the Teslong here.

The mirror screws in and out to focus, easily. Three mirrors come with the Teslong, and The mirror that has a red band on it is anti-glare to minimize the light reflection off of a shiny bore. Teslong does have a military/police/first responder discount.

FYI you will find so many other uses for the Teslong as well. I started using to inspect inside brass web areas for signs of case separation in progress. The real prob is you will end up buying enormous amount of new bore cleaning products to clean what you think you see. I added another shelf over bench to store the crap, I mean, wonderful products that did nothing. IMO, stock up on quality brushes, patches and JB.
I would agree with others on the Teslong. I purchased one a while back and find them handy for checking a lot of things that could not be seen before. It can be attached to a computer or phone. Spend a little more and it comes with it's own screen.

I purchased one when they first hit the market. I used it a couple of times and what I was able to see scared me so much that I put it away and have not used it since.
