I was working on a ranch once where bucks that were broken up were fair to shoot even if they would have scored as a trophy in a following year. Ranch manager wanted the most aggressive ones culled out of the herd. No idea if it actually does anything in terms of reducing aggression to remove them, but I said "yes sir" like a good worker, shot them, and ate well

I watched a pair about the size of the left one this morning acting all bad, tickling those bones, a 140 walked in and looked at them like and he really didn't want to be messed with, the more energetic of the two little ones thought it was a good idea to show the big 8 what he had learned, that lasted about 5 seconds

Ironically one of the first few suggestions
