Best scopes for $1500 to $2000?

Thanks everyone. I've gotta few things to decide on and get my hands on a couple scopes and ill be making a purchase and sharing with yall what I get. Going to compare ffp to sfp based on a couple recommendations. The only ffp scope I owned was a vortex and I wasn't impressed

I really like my Leupold VX-6 HD 3-18X44 with the TMOA reticle....I like the illumination on it.

but if i didnt require illumination, hard to go wrong with a Night Force, I hear they are built like tanks.
might even find one on this site for a deal?...
