Benchmark carbon fiber?

Just received a semi-custom 300 WSM with a Benchmark/Hell's Canyon Armory carbon barrel. I am in the process of breaking-in the barrel/fire forming brass. It may be a while before I have any meaningful feedback... but first impressions are good.

Will report back once I get into load development.

Do Benchmark and HCA's look identical?

Not identical as the profiles are a bit different but the wrap is very very similar so I'm betting they share the same vendor for wrapping. As to weave and epoxy I couldn't say.

Very nice looking, I'll bet it's a shooter. Is that a Browning Action? If so, what stock do you have on it? I am looking to customize a couple of Browning A-Bolts so if you have an info to share I would appreciate it.

Thank you. It's a Tikka T3x action. The stock is a Pure Precision Mesa Altitude.

I have 4 BM, 3 PROOFS, 2 Bartlein CF barrels. Hands down , imho, BM CF are better barrels. Just as accurate as my Bartlein, but the CF doesn't come "unglued" like the Barlein. A few people who cerekote wont do a Bartlein CF barrel or make you sign a waiver.

However, Bartlein did make good on the barrel.
