Beginers luck

Took my GF out for her first day of hunting(where she was actually behind the rifle) Sat morning,at first light a nice bull came through my ambush spot and I dropped him at 50 yards,spent most of the day packing him out 3 miles to the truck.Stoppe by some of our land on the way home and spotted a big 2x buck feeding on a fence line,got her lined up on him and crawled over the hill,5 more bucks were bedded right below him!This big boy hit the dirt at 300 yards,talk about beginers luck,width,height,mass and a beautiful cape.

Nice first (or second, third, fourth!) buck, especially for just having "stopped by!"

Every fall, I get this nagging feeling that I live in the wrong part of the country! Seems to happen about the same time all you westerners start posting your pictures!
