Battery Leakage

Anyone ever have a battery leak in a scope? The batteries in my NXS scopes are CR 2032s.

Never had it happen because I do not use the illumination feature and I do not install them in any of my NF's

I never use that feature either, but I have never seen a 2032 leak in several things I use them in. I just run them dead and replace them.

No, I hadn't even considered it until now. Thanks for posting your experience I'll pay more attention.

One of the batts I pulled was a lithium cell and these have a long shelf life. The others were not marked as such so I assume they weren't. I rather doubt any scope manufacture would cover battery damage.
