barrel threading question

ok,i will ask about that, i have a 458 socom with this break on it and wanted to be able to swap the break and can between the 458 and 45/70

and the 458 is 5/8 24

Why not get a quick change brake/adapter for the can and put one on each barrel. I use Silencerco asr

Some barrels don't have enough meat on the muzzle for11/16 or 3/4 and 5/8 can be thin between threads and bore. Muzzle belling as another has stated can be an issue and not a fun 1! I wanted to do a barrel change on an 1895 for that reason.
