Northern Sniper, Are you sure Mike doesn't offer chambering and finishing? His website says he offers threading, chambering, action work, truing, lapping, ect...

Winmagman, In his reply e-mail he says he does not smith any more just make barrels. The few good smiths in my region like Bill Leeper are booked until a least mid summer so I have to get a screw on barrel if I want to do any shooting any time soon. [IMG]
Pac-Nor looks about the best for completed barrels so far.

Mike is sticking to what he knows best- making barrels. I (GA Precision) handle all of his gunsmithing.

Well I'm thinking of rebarreling, I would prefer a Rockcreek barrel but Mike does not offer chambered and finished barrels. Who would you recomend? Shilen looks really good, is there anybody else you would recomend? [IMG]

Shilen, Kreiger, Hart and Lilja all fit and chamber and I can't immagine going wrong with any of them.
