Barrel recomendation please......

Northern Sniper, Are you sure Mike doesn't offer chambering and finishing? His website says he offers threading, chambering, action work, truing, lapping, ect...

Winmagman, In his reply e-mail he says he does not smith any more just make barrels. The few good smiths in my region like Bill Leeper are booked until a least mid summer so I have to get a screw on barrel if I want to do any shooting any time soon.

Pac-Nor looks about the best for completed barrels so far.

Mike is sticking to what he knows best- making barrels. I (GA Precision) handle all of his gunsmithing.

Well I'm thinking of rebarreling, I would prefer a Rockcreek barrel but Mike does not offer chambered and finished barrels. Who would you recomend? Shilen looks really good, is there anybody else you would recomend?

Shilen, Kreiger, Hart and Lilja all fit and chamber and I can't immagine going wrong with any of them.
