Just got 300 bullets and posted info on the 300 gr 338 cal RBT ST Hybrid bullet here
https://m.facebook.com/groups/352883471548278?view=permalink&id=501760283327262&ref=bookmarks

Most folks here don't want anything to do with ULD RBT Steel Tip bullets after the fiasco with
Whiskey Three Precision, Can't say I blame them as I got burned too ...

Chinchaga Bullets are not affiliated with the failed W3PS or Alco Bullets and have been making bullets a lot longer than the new guys ......

The 236 gr 30 cal RBT ULD ST Hybrid bullets are made from the thicker 338 cal J4 jackets swaged over a lead core to .308", due to the thicker jacket and the hybrid ogive they are longer than similar bullets made by others and have a verified g1 bc of .768 (300 RUM at 1k in a 10 tw barrel) due to the length of the 338 Cal jackets for 300 gr bullets it is possible to make a 250 gr 30 caliber RBT ULD ST Hybrid ogive bullet with .800 - .850 g1 bc (an estimate subject to verification) ....
By using the thicker 338 cal jackets that thicken a bit more after swaging to .308" these bullets are an excellent choice for fast 8 twist 30 cal barrels and high velocity without concerns of bullet fragmentation out of the muzzle, along with that positive is that hunting use both long and usual range is covered by thick tapered jackets and a tip to initiate expansion .....

My involvement with the 500 Jeffery based wildcat the 300 Werewolf and 8 tw Rock Creek barrels has led me to convincing Chinchaga Bullets to produce such a bullet, along with the 338 cal in 325 and 350 gr weights made from 375 cal jackets, when I get these bullets I'll post info and pics on the Facebook group mentioned in the link above ..... ( and here IF there is any interest )

Pic below is my 300 Long Range Hunter loaded with the 30 cal 236 gr RBT ULD ST Hybrid bullet to kiss the rifling and still feed and function from the 3.850" Accurate Mags

That FB link doesn't work for me.

Aaron

It won't unless you have a facebook account and it's a closed group meaning that you have to click "join group" then be approved , that's done in order to keep spammers and anti-gun libtards out ..

Do a search for group name in pic shown and hit the join button and one of the admins will grant you access ......

For the 25 caliber shooters ......

.257 cal 135 gr RBT ULD CT bullets for 8 tw and faster barrels
CT means closed tip or "pointed" as is known here .... this is done in a separate stage in a bullet pointing die, all CT bullets can be ordered as OTM , open tip match ... ie... hollow point, at time of order ......
