Rifle is a bushmaster varminter 24" -1/9" twist ,bullets are 75 grain PRVI ,winchester brass,CCI primers, varget powder,2.260 OAL
I started at 23 grains varget and went up .2 increments and stopped at 25.2 . Brass looked good all the way up to max load. I got good groups at 23.6 / 24.6 and the best group at max charge of 25.2 .
Is my max load too high ,just wondering if anybody else has a load in that range or should i use the smaller charges? I plan on re-testing all three loads with a chrony . Whats a good FPS with a 75 grainer in a .223 rem?

A friend of mine is shooting 77 gr. Bergers with 24.6 grs. Varget in a 9 twist Tikka sporter, with good results. I shoot a Savage LRPV 7 twist in competition with the 80 gr. Berger VLD and 25.5 grs. Varget, BR4's and Lapua brass. It has earned me a lot of wood. I have many .2 groups.
