Another type of varmint

We see them regularly while hunting coues deer in AZ. We refer to them az desert monkeys. I have shot a few. Even have one mounted. The AZ season is Sept through March and there is a bag limit of one per calendar year. AZ G&F doesn't track harvests so the bag limit of one per calendar year is regulated strictly by the honor system.

That`s interesting. I bet they play hell with ground nesting game birds.
 
Sitting a water hole in unit 22 and had one of them come in . Damm thing was noisy as a hell. I had the 300 wm on him 3 times but didn't realize I could shoot it . My hunting buddy came across one in 6a and had video of it on a archery elk hunt . Dad saw a little one on a muzzleloader hunt in 6a a few years back . There out there .
I've never seen them that far north. Wow.
