another lapua build question

OK guys I need help I'm building a 338 lapua it will weigh approximately 18 lbs and my question is will I absolutely hate myself if I don't put a brake on it I have a 458 win that IMHO isn't that bad, but I also have a 300 wby mag that's miserable so that's my experience and question let me know

if you can handle a sporter weight .458, you can handle an 18 lbs .338 Lapua. You should even be able to spot your own shots.
That said I sometimes shoot my 8.5lbs .338 rum without a brake, but I REALLY like to have it on (only take it of backpacking because my old pack was a little short).
