Anneal NOS Brass?

I'm going to be using some brass that is probably 30 to 40 years old, but never been fired to fire form a 300 sherman. Would it help at all to anneal it? I realize it hasn't been worked, so there's probably no need, but if it would help at all. Just wondering

Yeah, 100% agree it defiantly won't hurt before firing forming since the shoulder is going to move a lot. What method are you using to form the brass?

I absolutely would. It may be good not perception, but old brass seems to be brittle and annealing will only help with consistency.
