I was planing to start at .010 and the. .020 , .030 then .040. Which ever group should promise I was going to go down and work .002 increments to .005 above? What do you think?

@Elk Hunter 338 might be able to comment on this.
You can try but my first try was 3.340 and shot a super group. When I tried Sierra 180 gr Game Kings I had to play with distance. I too used a comparatior and found zero distance and worked back to find the sweet spot but for Accubonds I stick with 3.340 COAL and am very happy with my groups in both 300 win mags.

Have you guys found that the e-tips act like an accubond for loading? The 338 cal 225's look impressive

I have never loaded the e tips but nosler has a notice that states due to the construction of e tips you should always start with the lowest charge.
With that notice on their reloading website, I would say that they are totally different than accubond.
Hopefully someone who has actually had experience with them will chime in.

e-tips act hard like the old barnes x without the relief grooves. I had a load I thought worked with the 150 e-tips and rl19 in my 300win until the weather changed. It's the only time I've ever flushed a load with rl powder. I gave away the rest of the box and never looked back.

Many land owners here specify what they want for the deer species on their pest control permits. So, keeping to their criteria, they want 250g 338's and 260g 375's for complete pass throughs. This is because when they're filling their pest permits, they are often using 22-250's, 243's & the like and only wounding our Sambar deer that run 600+ lbs.Where are you finding deer that big to need a 250gr bullet? I want to hunt them.You mean you don't use a 223 for hunting big game. I read all the time about shooting their elk and bear with there M-4.
I would gladly use my 270 Bee, as 270 is minimum for us peasants, 300WM or 300RUM are perfect too, the farmer can use whatever they like…

Killed a lot of animals with a 338WM using 200gr Nosler BT or AB. I hadn't had to much problem passing through with the 200grs bullets. They are 3200FPS.

I hate chasing summer deer on permits. My go to rounds in my XP-100 handguns are: .375/.284, 260 gr. AB; .325 WSM 200 gr. AB. Of the 70+ deer I took with these rounds last year one "ran" 5 yds. All the others dropped. I've taken 6 bears with this combo. 1 ran 15 yds. Others dropped on shots from 180-220 yds.
That's some high dollar pills for cropping!
But they **** sure work.

Not high dollar. I used Nosler 2nds for last 4+ years for all my handguns. They look fine. I get 1/2-1" groups with them.
Finally went on a tour of Nosler a few years back. Asked them what made them 2nds. He said several elderly womem that worked long for Nosler went thru all the bullets on the line. If they "didn't like the way they look or had obvious imperfections they were put in the seconds!
I've used these "expensive" seconds to take SCI #2 Cape kudu, 120" blacktail, Coues deer, 184" mule deer at 265 yds, Shiras moose, #4 Mtn. Reedbuck, plus 20 other African animals, all in my handguns, all 1 shot.
Why pay more for something that works?
When I find the Nosler seconds in stock, I buy as many as I can.
